Google Web Browser Announced

A beta version of Google's new web browser dubbed "Chrome" was announced on Sept. 2nd and is currently available for download and testing. Chrome is an open sourced browser based on the Webkit HTML engine. With enough public adoption it may be the next leading web browser competitor along with Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Mozilla's FireFox.
